Even more shocking: **SPOILER ALERT**
At the end of Season 3, it is revealed that the entire show has actually just been the wanderings of Jason Street's coma-imagination while he is in the hospital and non-responsive after his injury. At the end of the last episode, Jason awakes to the "old Dillon" before the character arcs, drama, etc.; he walks away from the hospital, looks at the camera and says, "What a crazy town, right!??"
